Kate Spade Saturday Tokyo
The concept for the Kate Spade Saturday store in Tokoyo design is to combine the social side of shopping with the practicality and ease of grab and go. The circular wall separates the lounge from the rest of the store. The lounge encourages the customer, especially if she is shopping with friends, to stop, stay, and browse the curated display. Outside of the circle the merchandise is organized by category to facilitate the customer’s access to the product.
As for the material palette, the store will stay within the brand’s affinity towards honest and raw textures combined with the quirk and fun of bright colors. The store’s innovative shopfront utilizes a vending machine concept that allows the Saturday shopper to have access to her favorite products whether or not the store is open.
