The People’s Theatre: Centro Cultural Inmigrante

WORKac’s design for the new North Boulder Branch Library was a result of a series of community engagement events in 2018. A primary focus is the relationship between the new building and its landscape.
Inside, the library will have meeting rooms and study spaces, a new home for the library’s Boulder Reads literacy program and an 800-square foot community room that can be divided into two smaller spaces. The Maker Space is being imagined as a “Maker Kitchen” to be used in conjunction with the greenhouse and community garden. Outdoors, a new urban plaza accommodates outdoor events.
